Caution your equipment could be comprimised

Okay help me understand this sign right here. Obviously we see that there is some kind of danger to anyone riding a bike with one wheel to fall into potholes or in this case train tracks.

But lets just examine for a moment, Lets just say my bike had two wheels, I would doubt that this would be a problem.

I know some of you are like "the holes would be bigger than they illustrated on the sign". That's all well and good but if that were the case then they should have made the holes on the sign much larger.
